Miami Valley Green Industry Professionals Winter Workshop 2013

On Wednesday, December 11th, Lawn Plus helped sponsor and was in attendance at the 2013 MVGIP Winter Workshop, held at Wegerzyn Horticultural Center in Dayton, OH. This year’s workshop included lectures and training from Randy Zondag (Commercial Horticulturist), Dr. Mary Ann Rose ( Director of Pesticide Safety Education Program), and Joe Boggs ( Assistant Professor Of Entomology) all from The Ohio State University. There were over 100 people in attendance with a wide range of local municipalities, school districts, government organizations, and universities represented. It was an excellent event and we were able to share a little bit about Lawn Plus and our services. Recently, five Lawn Plus employees, including myself, attended the Ohio Turfgrass Foundation (OTF) Conference and Show in Columbus, OH. This year’s show was held on December 3rd- 5th at the Greater Columbus Convention Center and featured exhibitors from all over the world as well as education from some of the top researchers and industry professionals in the country.
